Chocolate is the favorite food for all kids, youngster and old people all over the world. It was discovered in 1828 by Johannes Van Houten who was a Dutch chemist in actual, he extracted the fat of the cacao fruit in the form of coco butter from the coco beans. And the taste of this butter was less bitter than the seeds. It was further combined with honey or any other sweetener to mix in some drinks which humans can easily enjoy and drink. This process was named after him as Van Houten process. It was the first method by which we can answer how is first chocolate ever made?

Is chocolate bad for you health? Many people say that it is not good to eat chocolate everyday because it can create many problems for you. They say it because the contents of the chocolate with which it is coated or mixed are not good for health. But the chocolate in its raw form or without sugar has nothing to do with all these rumors.  Some people even say that by eating chocolates daily, you can gain weight and in fact again the story behind these statements are not related with the chocolate but the other things like sugar, caramel, nuts etc.

But if we talk about pure chocolate we can not say that it is harmful for health in fact before it was used in only candy bars, chocolate was main ingredient of many medicines.

How is chocolate made ? Making chocolate is not an easy task and it is not a game for kids but the procedure is very difficult and time taking if we consider its start from the cacao tree. Yes, the cacao tree is the tropical plant found mostly in Africa and southern Mexico but it is planted and harvested in all other tropical areas of the world.  To climb up a tree is very difficult so first thing you must know about how is chocolate made is the root which is the cacao tree. So as I was saying that it is very hard to climb on a tropical tree in jungles, people usually harvest them in the form of orchids.

Where was milk chocolate invented? Milk chocolates are very yummy treat especially for kids. The milk chocolates are mild and when mixed with sugar gives excellent sweet flavors that kids love to eat and enjoy. If we go back in the history of chocolate when it was discovered is about four thousand years ago but chocolate has never lost its value from centuries in fact, it is still a valuable food that is eaten all around the world with love.
